The location of the hostel is excellent - about 100 meters away from the metro station "Antón Martín", ~20 minutes away from "Atocha" railway station by foot and very close to the most interesting sightseeing objects and places in Madrid. I stayed in a room for 12 people, the room was big enough to accommodate all the beds (6 two store beds) and the lockers. There was more than enough free space not to feel overcrowded. The room had a balcony whose door could be opened to let fresh air from outside. Each bed had its own power outlet and a lamp. The only thing that I didn't like and definitely could be improved is to have at least 3-4 chairs in the room. People from the upper beds can't sit there and do some things like packing their luggage or even lacing their shoes. The cleanliness is more than one expects for such a place. The room was very clean, lockers too. The beds, the pillows and the 'blankets' were very clean too and the bedsheets were freshly washed. The cleanliness and the associated feeling of comfort with it, is the strongest positive point of the hostel, even more than the location. The common spaces were very clean too. The toilets and the bedrooms were very clean too and in the showers, there is a liquid soap too. The dining room is big, with several places for eating and a big comfortable sofa and an armchair. The Wi-Fi connection was very good everywhere in the hostel - the room and the dining room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I don't have an opinion about the breakfast because I haven't ordered any. Overall, I would rate the hostel with 9.5 out of 10 points. For the price I paid, they offered much more than I had expected.

I loved this place from the moment I stepped inside. A clean, welcoming, cozy reception with very friendly and helpful staff. The elevator - little but existing, and modern, clean, with a huge mirror. Clean corridors. Very nice common area and a little kitchen. The breakfast was delicious - there was milk and cereals (frosty loops, coco pops, Kelloggs), there was a delicious Spanish meal made of potatoes and eggs, warm sausages there were two kinds of toast bread (plus a toaster), Nutella, strawberry jam, honey, ham, cheese. No veggies though. But of course tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a variety of DELICIOUS juices, my favorite was pineapple, there was exotic/multi fruit, apple and orange too. Also a mini crossaint and a chocolate pastry 😋. The rooms were super super clean and spacious. A super big yes for a tiny but spacious shelf just by the bed, together with a socket. A locker was almost big enough for my big suitcase. The bathroom - super clean, a lot of space to put or hang your stuff.Comfy beds! Super close to the metro and everything you need just by the corner, McDonald's, Burger King, restaurants, supermarkets, an Anime Ramen place (!) is etc. Also - a kindest thing happened to me thanks to some random fellow traveler and the reception - I got the travel card loaded with 5 journeys 🥹, that someone wouldn't use up...

Definitely one of the best hostels that I've ever stayed at. The service was top notch and the check-in and check-out process was a breeze. The entire hostel was always clean, well organized, and had a good atmosphere. The rooms had lockers that could fit up to a 65l bag and each bed had a light, charging port, and small shelf. The place had more bathrooms than I could count and the showers had body wash. The kitchen while not fully equipped had an oven, toaster, microwave, teapot, silverware, and plates/bowls. Lastly, the location was in my opinion perfect. It is within five minutes of sol, putting it in walking distance from each of the neighborhoods of central Madrid. Overall, I definitely recommend this hostel!

everything! the staff are polite, helpful, kind, very nice and always worried about your well-being. the location is great, the bedroom, toilets, showers, kitchen, living room and the outdoor area are very clean and well-decorated. they also offer the guests some extra activities such as yoga, meditation and familiar constellation sessions. the atmosphere is amazing, really familiar. apart from the bedrooms, there's some music around the hostel. I'd like to thank all the staff, especially the ones i was closer to ( Oksana, Natassha, Edly, Natália, Galina and Maria ) who always cared about me with a lot of tender. although the name of the hostel is Far Home, they make you feel Home. I'd definitely go back there.

Perfect location, 5-10 minutes walking to Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol. Everything was clean and the facilities were great. There's a nice common area too. The staff was nice and helpful. Very fast WiFi. Also it's very affordable, I booked 3 months in advance so I got a 8-beds room for just 22 Euros per night. I love how Spain and Madrid have the best hostels experiences with affordable prices in great locations, unlike other countries such as France and Netherlands, even Italy that has a reputation for being inexpensive but when it comes to hostels it's expensive for the provided service. Hope Spain stays like that. Would definitely recommend this hostel.
